Hi, I'm Hanna. mom, artist, project manager, creative business success guide, and founder of Chrysalis Creative Coaching
Chrysalis Creative Coaching grew out of my own season of transformation. Before becoming a mom, I ran a creative business teaching art classes in my studio and selling my artwork and products. I loved the mix of creativity and connection, but when my son was born, I pressed pause to focus on that new chapter of life.
When he was six months old, we sold everything and moved to Spain. That move became a turning point, a chance to rebuild life and work with more intention. As I navigated life as a new mom in a new city, I found myself craving a gentler, more sustainable way to grow, one that honored my new emerging identity.
My earlier years in the corporate world had been spent consulting and coaching, helping large international IT companies build project management systems that brought order to complexity, and I saw how structure can create freedom, and how the right systems can turn chaos into calm.
As I began to learn more about myself and who I was now as a mother, I wove all these threads together to create Chrysalis Creative Coaching.
Now, I help creatives design businesses that support their passion and their lives, blending structure with soul.
I care about this work because I’ve lived it. I’ve seen how everything changes when you stop trying to do it all alone and start building from a place of alignment and support.

I believe creativity is a way of life, not just a skill.
My best ideas usually arrive while walking in nature, or in the ocean watching the sunset.
I’m happiest when I’ve got paint on my fingers and sand between my toes surrounded by my family.
My son is my favorite adventure buddy, and our family motto is “Let's go on an adventure!”
I’m endlessly fascinated by how small tweaks in mindset can create big shifts in freedom.
My superpower is taking complex, messy problems and processes and smoothing all the wrinkles out creating ease and flow in life.
My dream workspace? Sunlight, music, plants, sea breeze, iced coffee, a journal with lots of brainstorming notes and plenty of colored markers. Add in some watercolors and paper and I'm in heaven.

Hanna Barnhart is a Creative Business Success Guide and founder of Chrysalis Creative Coaching where she helps creative businesses (artists, makers, designers, photographers, and many more) bring structure to their creativity and build thriving, human-centered businesses with heart.
With a background in Psychology and Masters in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, and her experience running an art based business for over a decade, plus providing strategic operational consulting for technical companies for the past 12 years, Hanna brings a unique perspective and ability to see the full picture of the creative business owners journey.
As a mom of a toddler, running two businesses full time, she understands the balance between family life and building a beautiful creative business. She blends deep soulful wisdom, with creative intuition and practical strategy and action. Her clients have achieved remarkable results, including a 300% revenue increase in just three months, by applying her blend of mindfulness, clarity, and practical strategy.
Based in Barcelona, Hanna finds inspiration in the city’s vibrant energy and connection to nature. When she’s not supporting clients, you’ll find her exploring sunlit streets with her husband and son, sketchbook in hand, or playing barefoot on the beach as the Mediterranean sparkles nearby.
